Data is saved as a single JSON file in a private GitHub repo. Owner/repo/branch/path are pre-filled — you normally only need to add the shared access token below. (To change the hardcoded defaults, edit DEFAULT_OWNER/DEFAULT_REPO/DEFAULT_BRANCH/DEFAULT_PATH in app.js.)

Used by the “Scan receipt” button on the dashboard. The key is stored only in this browser's localStorage (never synced to GitHub). Get one at platform.openai.com.
Scan cost meter
Merchant → envelope mappings
Learned automatically when you tag a scanned receipt with an envelope. Future scans for the same merchant will pre-select that envelope.

Wipe transactional data. Initial balance and GitHub config are preserved.
